The Dutch Occultation Association promotes observations of celestial occultation phenomena in the Netherlands.
Among the most frequently observed events are:

• occultations of stars and planets by the Moon
• occultations of stars by asteroids
• mutual occultations / eclipses of the Jovian
  and Saturnian's moons

Everyone equipped with even a small telescope, a stopwatch and a (DCF77) time signal receiver can record observations of this nature. The observations are of scientific value!
